Information Related to Service Rate Table
1. Interpretation time: refers to the time starting from the beginning of interpretation to the end including recess and mealtime
2. Cancellation Penalty: A confirmation of your request should be given one week before the event requiring interpretation.
If cancellation should occur after signing contract, the penalty is as follows: 5 days before event: 30% of total fee, the day before the event: 50% of total fee, on the day of event: 100% full amount is due
3. Pre-briefing and rehearsal: Under in-house rules, interpreters are required to arrive 30 minutes before the beginning of an event. If an interpreter attends a pre-meeting, an additional US $50 (GBP 28)is charged per hour on the interpretation day and US $ 100 (GBP 56 ) on any other day.
We recommend that the company hosting the event send all relevant data to our interpreters at least one week before the event by home delivery or courier service.
4. Sending of data: For a better interpretation service please send all relevant data to us at least one week before the event by e-mail, registered mail or home delivery service.
In-house rules require sending relevant data one week before events in the case of simultaneous and consecutive interpretation.
5. In simultaneous interpretation, two interpreters (or three depending on the conference time and the degree of difficulty) work in tandem in one booth and take turns every 20 minutes.
6. In order to record and/or broadcast interpretation, clients of our interpretation service are required to make an agreement with the individual interpreters in advance and will be charged an addtional surcharge equal to 100% of the interpretation fee.
7. Interpretation Trip
- C-ITIS covers hotel charges and traffic fare.
- If the working hours of an interpreter do not exceed 8 hours a day,
interpretation fee for 8 hours work is charged and additional fee is
charged per hour if the daily working hours exceed 8 hours.
- During a trip if there is no interpretation, 50% of interpretation fee is
charged for that day.
